Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of shadesofhappy.com (the "Site") and to coaching services provided by [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] doing business as Shades of Happy and coach Izabela Lewis ("we", "us"). By using the Site, booking a call or purchasing a session or package, you agree to these Terms.

1. What we offer

We offer relationship and life coaching for individuals and couples: a free discovery call, single Insight Sessions, session packages and Immersion Days, online by video call or in person in the Chicagoland area. Current prices are listed on the Work With Me page.

2. Coaching is not therapy

Coaching is not psychotherapy, counseling, medical care, financial or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for them. Izabela Lewis does not diagnose or treat any mental or physical condition. If you are in crisis or need medical or mental health care, please contact a licensed professional or, in an emergency, call 911 (in the U.S., you can also call or text 988). If there is abuse, addiction or a safety concern in a relationship, we may refer you to an appropriate licensed professional.

3. No guaranteed results

Results depend on many factors, including your own effort and circumstances. We do not promise any particular outcome, such as finding a partner or saving a relationship. You remain fully responsible for your decisions and actions.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book calls or purchase services.

5. Booking, payment and packages

• Calls and sessions are booked through our online scheduler.
• Insight Sessions are paid at the time of booking. Packages (Foundation, Shift) and Immersion Days are paid [PAYMENT TERMS, e.g. in full before the first session].
• Packages are valid for [PACKAGE VALIDITY, e.g. 3 months for Foundation and 6 months for Shift] from the first session. Unused sessions expire after that period.
• For Immersion Days, costs of venues, meals, tickets and travel are paid by the client.

6. Rescheduling, cancellations and refunds

[CANCELLATION POLICY, e.g. You can reschedule or cancel a session free of charge up to 24 hours before its start. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed, count as used.]

[REFUND POLICY, e.g. Payments for completed sessions are non-refundable. Unused sessions in a package may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if no session has taken place.]

7. Confidentiality

We keep what you share in sessions confidential, as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not record sessions without our written consent. We will not record sessions without yours.

8. Text message program

If you opt in to text messages, you will receive messages from Shades of Happy (Izabela Lewis) such as appointment reminders, follow-ups and occasional offers. Message frequency varies, up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; you will receive one confirmation message. Reply HELP for help, or contact info@shadesofhappy.com or (312) 452-7447. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site and in our materials, including texts, the pattern quiz, the "5 Mistakes" guide, worksheets and images, belongs to Shades of Happy or its licensors. You may use it for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell or distribute it without our written permission.

10. Use of the Site

You agree not to misuse the Site, for example by attempting to access it without authorization, interfering with its operation or submitting false information. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shades of Happy and Izabela Lewis are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date.
